Spill Prevention Nozzle Adapters
After market evaluation of most commonly used one inch high flow nozzles, we have found the construction and design to be similar. A typical nozzle spout is constructed of an aluminum body and frame with a steel spring which sleeves over it. This spring is to help the nozzle hold in the tank. Unfortunately, the coil design does not adhere to the inner ring well nor does it absorb any of the energy of movement at the hose or nozzle. The

DESIGN
The
spill prevention nozzle adapter
is designed from high quality, durable stainless steel material. This material can be tempered to a desirable degree. Grounding conductivity is good when in contact with the tank. The collar is designed to hold hinge assembly accommodating the force of the weight of the nozzle. The arm has holding points for all styles of tanks and screen devices. The arm is tempered to absorb movements wind interference, pressure changes, etc. The arm has angled points on the top surface to hold the tank fill rim, providing a directionary curve. This is important in drive off situations when the nozzle is still in the tank. The tip carries a nub for screened tanks also round in design. The stainless steel hinge provides low profile and small construction giving the upmost in strength and durability.
INSTALLATION
The spill prevention nozzle adapter can accommodate almost all tank types. Pivot point at arm where hinge is fastened is located as far back on the spout as possible, meaning the stress point to the spout is minimal. To install this adapter you: 1- remove the two upper mounting screws on spout flange 2- slip the adapter over the main part of the spout and re-bolt to nozzle at spout flange.
